Matthew was first elected as your Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) in 2021, and re-
elected in 2024. As PCC covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, and
Oxfordshire it is Matthew’s role to be the voice of the public, representing two and a half
million people. He served as Deputy PCC from 2017 to 2021, during which time he took on
the chairmanship of the Local Criminal Justice Board.
